Music Artiste Jaywon wants to leave Kennis Music.

Recently, Kennis Music artiste, Jaywon (real name Iledare Oluwajuwonlo) reportedly asked his records label to set him ‘free’. Now, the singer has joined the growing number of singers calling it quits with their  labels and by implication, metaphorically ‘biting’ the fingers that fed them.

A statement released by the Public Affairs Unit of Kennis Communications says the singer had written a letter through his lawyer to request the termination of his contract with the company.

The statement reads in part, “Jaywon wrote, in the same letter, his willingness to pay off all costs therein accordingly. However, Kennis Music, has urged the Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria and all broadcasters on all platforms to delist the works (either single performances or collaborations) of Iledare Oluwajuwonlo James, aka Jaywon, from their respective rotational play lists until his (Jaywon) request to buy over his contract is fully completed to avoid litigation.”

Nobody wants to feature me in their movies--- Baba Suwe Cries out

This is not a good time at all for Yoruba comic actor, Baba Suwe. Baba Suwe in a new interview with Encomium Magazine has confessed that he is broke and a lot of his friends and helpers have deserted him. He said his cocaine scandal ruined him and it is almost ruining his career as well. People no longer call me to act in their movies, he revealed. Read what he told the magazine after the cut.

“I have not collected any compensation money from NDLEA yet. The most painful thing is that I was wrongly accused. Had it been, I actually committed the crime, I won’t mind, but they just punished me for nothing. I was in NDLEA custody for almost three weeks, and nothing was found on me. No matter the kind of juju one may have, I don’t think there is anybody that can conceal cocaine for even two days.
