‘I don’t have time for this!’ – Why Rotimi Amaechi left Paul Okoye’s wedding

Netng.com Reports that Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, stormed out of the traditional marriage ceremony of Paul Okoye barely 30 minutes after he arrived, because the ceremony did not start on time.

The governor came in around 2pm and, as he alighted from his vehicle, his aides informed him that the event had not started and neither the couple nor celebrity guests had arrived.

He responded, ‘If we wait for some time and they don’t come, we will leave. I don’t have time for all this.’

The governor posed for photos before entering the hall. However, barely 30 minutes later, a visibly unimpressed Amaechi walked out of the hall accompanied by his aides and drove out of the event premises.
The marriage ceremony, which was billed to start by 12pm, did not commence till around 2:45pm.

One New York City yoga studio has taken yoga’s flexible principles to the next level by offering co-ed, naked vinyasa courses.

The class, introduced the Bold & Naked studio in Chelsea, is supposed to provide students with a new way to focus on celebrating their bodies and is not intended to be sexually evocative.

There are a lot of things that separate us in a normal yoga class, like what brand of yoga clothing you’re wearing or how you look when you’re wearing it,’ Vanessa Kennedy, a naked yoga class attendee, told Reuters. ‘But when we’re naked, it’s like we’re all the same.’

‘Practicing yoga naked frees you from negative feelings about your body and allows [you] to be more accepting and deeper connected with yourself and the world around you.’
The studio offers $25 naked yoga classes in a co-ed format, as well as those that are segregated by gender. It also offers fully-clothed classes and teacher training programs in tantric ‘yogassage.’

The naked instruction courses do not allow observers or photography, and students must sign a liability waiver before entering the class.
Much like in fully-clothed yoga classes, Bold & Naked, which is the brainchild of co-owner Joschi Schwarz, says that students should expect for teachers to hand-administer postural corrections. Partner work is also sometimes involved in the classes’ vinyasa flow sequences.

Nigeria Comic Actor 'SAKA' lost valuable properties to a mysterious midnight inferno

Popular Nigeria comedian/ actor, Hafiz Oyetoro a.k.a Saka has lost valuable properties to a mysterious
midnight inferno at his office located at the Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Otto Awori, in Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State.

According to report, the incident took place last night at the theatre arts department of the college, where Saka who is also an MTN ambassador lectures.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

Speaking with journalist, Saka's personal assistant said his boss lost all his valuables worth millions of
naira to the fire.

Chris Brown says he's 'good at using guns and knives'; gets thrown in jail for a month

Chris Brown will be enjoying a lovely
month-long stay at a beautifully appointed residential abode otherwise known as Jaily McPrison-Town after making comments about his abilities to use guns and knives well. Which, on reflection, wasn't the best thing to tell his rehab group session.

The rapper was removed from his drying-
out clinic last Friday after breaching four
of the in-house rules, including "inappropriately touching" a woman's
elbow, refusing to give a drug test and
telling one of his group counselling sessions: "I am good at using guns and
knives."

2009, was then led out of court in a

Music authority MTV Base (DStv Channel 322) has named superstar rapper, Olamide as the channel's Artist of the Month for March.

Justice be done: Ekiti State commissioner arrested for beating up NYSC member

Police in Ekiti has arrested the state's Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Mr. Kayode Olaosebikan, for questioning over the beating up of a NYSC member at a registration unit in Otun Ekiti, Moba LGA of the state, Vanguard reports.

Olaosebikan (pictured above), who is also the Chairman, NYSC board in the state, was seen at the Criminal Investigation Department, CID, making his statement.
Olaosebikan allegedly beat up a youth corps member, Mr. Thompson Enobong, NYSC number EK/13c/1859, who is one of the NYSC members assisting INEC in the just-concluded registration.
Enobong was subsequently rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, FMC, Ido Ekiti, where he is said to be receiving treatment.

Olaosebikan, however, denied beating up the corps member, saying he merely protected him.
Vanguard also gathered that a soldier, Private Clement John is being interrogated by the police for disrupting the exercise in Emure Ekiti.

The soldier, who claimed to be serving in an Army unit in Borno State, was reportedly over powered by others at the registration unit and handed over to the police. John has equally been transferred to Ado Ekiti for further investigation.

Also one Paul Ezekiel was arrested in Ikere Ward 2 for allegedly threatening officials of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, during the rush for registration.

Spokesman of the state police command, Mr. Victor Babayemi, who confirmed the two cases, said the soldier would be handed over to the Army formation in Ondo State to ascertain whether or not he is a soldier.

Meanwhile, the Director-General, Prince Adedayo Adeyeye Movement, PAAM, the political organisation of one of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, gubernatorial aspirants, Bisi Kolawole, has called on the relevant authorities to protect NYSC members.

Late top music producer Harold Obiajulu Mordi a.k.a HCode, who died on Friday March 7th after suffering an asthma attack, will be laid to rest tomorrow Wednesday, March 19. 

Funeral service will hold at Lagoon Restaurant, Ozumba Mbadiwe, VI at 10:00 am and internment follows immediately at Victoria Courts Cemetry, Awoyaya after Mayfair Gardens in Lagos. May his soul continue to rest in peace, amen.

His Biography!

Harold ObiajuluMordiwas born into the family of  Chief & Chief Mrs Francis Chukwuma Mordi on the 17th of May, 1986 at the First Consultant Hospital in Lagos. He attended the St Catherine's Model Catholic School Yaba for his Nursery and Primary Education and then went onto Redeemers International Secondary School Maryland, Lagos where he completed his Secondary Education.

 In 2004 while concluding his final year of Secondary Education; himself, his older sister Matilda and his first cousin Dele Jabar formed a music group called the FUDIES, their first album was produced by ID Cabasa, that was the beginning of his musical career, he then became so passionate about making music.

He furthered his education by gaining a diploma in Multi Media & Animation Technology at Aptech Worldwide Education (Meridien Technologies) and soon began working with different media houses, including Nigezie. He registered and began running one of his businesses HCODE MULTIMEDIA a brand well-known for Montage Production, Video and 3D Production as well as Sound/Music production and he was privileged to work with many brands, government parastatals, schools/institutions, organizations and churches to create unique multi-media  and 3D commercials, montages and documentaries. 

Harold Obiajulu Mordi also popularly known as HCode founded his other businesses before he turned 24, EARWAXX STUDIOS (A world class Multi-Media recording studio where he produced several musical tracks, music videos and photography shoots) and MORDI RECORDS (a record label dedicated to supporting upcoming acts).  Harold impacted a lot of lives with his humility, genius and creative talent, he was very supportive of young and upcoming musical artistes and this inspired him till his departure. 

From the age of 7 Harold began to display a distinguishable gift and business acumen, driven to succeed, Harold was extremely courageous and without argument extremely gifted. He was given to making financial investments from the age of 17. He was intelligent and proved over and over to be wiser than his years. He pursued his dreams earnestly and was successful in many regards. Hardworking, Respectful and Honest Harry was an inspiration and friend to many.

Harold was a born again and baptized believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, and was privileged to work in the creation of TV Commercials and Montages for his Local Church Covenant Christian Center. Though Harold had dealt with his asthma for most of his life, through the mercy of God; the support and love of his family, he overcame many asthmatic attacks and achieved many great things in his 27 years. Up until his death he ran his businesses HCode Multimedia Studios, Mordi Records and Earwaxx Studios successfully.

On the night of March 7th 2014, Harold ObiajuluMordi passed on in the company of his Mother, Sister Matilda, Close Friend Adegbenga Agoro and prodigeeTejumola 'Teejay' Osibanjo

He is survived by his Mother, Brothers, Sisters, Nieces and Nephews, In-Laws, & very close friends. He is dearly loved and will be greatly missed, his legacy will surely live on

Disgusting!: 20 year old man rapes 8-yr-old boy

The Jigawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, says it has arrested a 20-year-old man for allegedly raping an
eight year old boy in Dutse Local Government Area of the state.

The Commander, Mr. Muhammad Gidado, disclosed this yesterday.
Gidado said that the suspect was arrested in the Jigawa Tsada quarters of Dutse town on Sunday following intelligence report. He said that the suspect allegedly lured the boy into his room and committed the offence.

Gidado added that a medical report by Rashidi Shekoni Specialist Hospital, Dutse, had confirmed that the boy was raped. He said that the suspect confessed to have committed the offence with the boy on previous
occasions, and that he lured the child with N20 each time.

12 die while using local boat to cross to 6th Avenue Estate in Festac

Last week Tuesday March 11th, Twelve people unfortunately lost their lives while trying to cross a canal with a local boat to 6th Avenue Estate in Festac, which they say is the shortest (not the
only) route to the estate. There was a 'Kpako' bridge there but when it got bad about 2 years ago, the local government didn't bother building
another one, so commuters were forced to start using boats to cross the canal which usually takes less than four minutes and they pay N10 to cross.

Unfortunately that day the boat, with about 13 people on-board, capsized around 7pm and it took about two hours for rescuers to recover the bodies from the canal. 1 survived.

The local government chairman came with an ambulance to convey the deceased to the morgue.

Today, some residents of the area took to the streets to protest the deaths as angry relatives and neighbours say the deceased have been abandoned in the morgue without care and that the govt has refused to allow relatives claim their loved ones. They are also asking for a new bridge to be built to avoid further deaths.

A 4.4-magnitude earthquake shook the Los Angeles area this morning Monday March 17th.

The residents were still asleep when the earthquake happened.
A US Geological Survey spokeswoman, Dr Lucy Jones said it was the strongest earthquake in Los Angeles since the last aftershocks from the 1994 Northridge quake.

No casualties or destruction has been reported.

Meanwhile Nicki Minaj who resides in the area where the earthquake happened said that the whole experience made her to re-evaluate her
life.

Breaking News: Pipeline Explosion now at Imore- Ijegun in Lagos

An unconfirmed news reaching us have it that there is a pipeline explosion at Imore-Ijegun in Lagos state.

A man name witheld told us that people have been crossing to that area for 4weeks now with empty containers.

He said the outbreak started this evening and call to Lagos State fire service was successful as fire service men arrived immediately but couldn't cross over to the scene due to absence of Boat which is normally used by resident to convey one another.

A 35-year old man, Arinze Kingsley, has left a married woman, Mrs Amaka Ohanwe, partially blind when she allegedly refused his sexual advances. Amaka was seriously injured in her right eye when she was allegedly beaten up by Kingsley at a beauty salon.

She said after undergoing several operations, the doctors at Apapa General Hospital confirmed that she cannot see with the eye again.

Following the assault, the police at Area 'B' Apapa arrested Kingsley and charged him with assault before Apapa Magistrate's Court after which he was remanded in Kirikiri Prisons in Lagos State, southwest Nigeria.

Both Amaka and Kingsley, who is still single, admitted that they were friends but Amaka said they were just friends not lovers.

She said she stopped relating with Kingsley when she discovered that he was desperate to have sex with her despite the fact that he knew that she was married and had two kids.

She said after several attempts by him to sleep with her failed, he became aggressive and when she noticed that, she started avoiding him.

Amaka said Kingsley eventually traced her to a salon at Pen Crescent, Apapa, Lagos where she went to have her hair done and attacked her in front of the beauty shop.

"He waited for me outside the salon. When he saw me, he started abusing me after I refused his advances. I replied him and he hit my eye and threw me on the floor. He started  hitting his head on my eyes until I started bleeding," she told the court.

Amaka said it was their neighbours who came to her rescue and took her to the hospital, while Kingsley immediately started his motorcycle and rode off after attacking her.
She alleged that after the attack, Kingsley boasted that nothing would happen to him because he has money to bail himself out of any difficult situation.

Amaka reported the case to the police but alleged that she was asked to collect N30,000 for her eye operation in order to settle the matter out of court.

Amaka said she had spent over N200,000 on the surgeries but they were not successful.

She called on the state government to come to her aid and ensure justice was done in the matter. Meanwhile, when Kingsley was contacted, he admitted attacking Amaka but said he wanted to settle the matter out of court but she refused.

When he was arraigned, he pleaded not guilty.

The presiding magistrate, Mrs O.A Adegbite, granted him bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.

He was, however, remanded in prison custody pending when he will fulfill his bail conditions
The matter was adjourned till 24 March.

Breaking News: Angry Immigration Aptitude Test Applicant block Stadium-Ikorodu Road in Lagos

Information reaching us now have it that candidate who applied for the immigration exam have been deprived from writing the exam.

This led to a protest from the candidates as they block Stadium- Ikorodu Road.

Speaking to one of the angry candidates he said " This people are theives, after paying N1000 we couldn't write the exam "

Another candidates said, "they are not organised at all, I came here by 5am this morning and nothing to show for it"

We spoke to another person whose name "Withheld" said "The officials were throwing the exam paper at us, Nobody will move on this road today, We decided to block the road so that Nigerians can feel our pain. Let all the government officials get to hear about this blockage.

Estimated candidates who applied for the exam are more than 20,000.

Music Artiste Jaywon wants to leave Kennis Music.

Recently, Kennis Music artiste, Jaywon (real name Iledare Oluwajuwonlo) reportedly asked his records label to set him ‘free’. Now, the singer has joined the growing number of singers calling it quits with their  labels and by implication, metaphorically ‘biting’ the fingers that fed them.

A statement released by the Public Affairs Unit of Kennis Communications says the singer had written a letter through his lawyer to request the termination of his contract with the company.

The statement reads in part, “Jaywon wrote, in the same letter, his willingness to pay off all costs therein accordingly. However, Kennis Music, has urged the Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria and all broadcasters on all platforms to delist the works (either single performances or collaborations) of Iledare Oluwajuwonlo James, aka Jaywon, from their respective rotational play lists until his (Jaywon) request to buy over his contract is fully completed to avoid litigation.”
